P C Sreeram is the cinematographer of hit films like Agni Natchathiram, Devar Magan and Thiruda Thiruda. He has also directed a film, Kuridi Punal – which made it to the Oscars as an Indian entry. A diploma holder in Cinematography from National Institute of Tamil Nadu, P C Sreeram could be rated among the top-most cinematographers of his genre, a name that could by itself sell a movie down south among his adulating fans – specially since winning the National Awards for almost all his movies. He has handled the camera for 26 films till now including all the south Indian languages and also Hindi other than his ad-films.
He says, “It is only through still photography that I saw the world. All this interest in life, this urge to have knowledge of things, all came only through the lens”.
