Telugu, Karnataka, Chennai, Mumbai teams in Semis

With the conclusion of four matches in Vishakapatnam on 4th and 5th February, a clear pictures about the Semi Final line up for the second edition of Celebrity Cricket League emerged.

Telugu Warriors team led by Venkatesh with highest points heads the list, while Karnataka Bull Dozers led by Sudeep takes the second spot. The last team to enter the Semi Finals is the Mumbai heroes led by Suniel Shetty which made it to Semi Finals through a convincing match against Bengal Tigers.

Chennai Rhinos led by Vishal just scrapped through the final on the basis of run average. Telugu Warriors and Karnataka Bulldozers appear to be the strongest teams as of now. Both the teams have shown all round strength in the matches so sar.

Charan Tej of Telugu Warriors team and Rajeev, Bhaskar and Dhruv have done well in batting, while actors like Tarun Sudhir, Tarun Chandra, Abhimanyu have shown their ability in bowling. Added to that is the superlative captaincy of Sudeep who has come out with good bowling changes and ability to lead the team.

On Sunday, Karnataka Bulldozers had a convincing win against the Kerala Strikers team led by Padmashri Mohan Lal. Rajeev created a big batting record by scoring 154 runs, while Bhaskar scored 87 runs. The two Semi Final matches would be played in Chennai on 11th February.

The first match will be interesting as Chennai Rhinos are playing on their home ground against Telugu Warriors. The second match is between the Karnataka Bulldozers team against the Mumbai Heroes.

The final match will be played in Hyderabad on 12th February.
