The shoot of Thalapathy 62 is likely to resume next week in Chennai. The makers had put the project on hold for nearly one month because of the Kollywood's strike against digital service providers. On Wednesday, Tamil Film Producers Council’s President called off the strike and from today, producers can resume the regular shoot.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the untitled film is said to be a political action thriller. Keerthy Suresh plays Vijay’s romantic interest in the film, which also has Varalakshmi, Radha Ravi, Yogi Babu and Livingston in pivotal characters.
Sun Pictures is bankrolling the magnum opus and Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman is taking care of the songs and background score. Thalapathy 62 is slated to release for Diwali 2018.
