Hansika is the new pin-up doll of Tamil cinema.
She is a busy shuttling between Hyderabad and Chennai doing films in both the languages and this year promises to be different for the actress.
She delivered spirited performance in Engeyum Kadhal and Velayudham and won accolades.
And now, Hansika is banking heavily on Rajesh directed Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (OKOK) to gain more acceptability and popularity.
Recently at the audio launch and later at the press meet in Chennai she was confident and floored the media in her own charming ways.
The bubbly actress who has shed the extra kilos says: “Working with some talented actors made me learn a lot. Like I learnt a lot from Vijay as he gave me so much insight into comedy that I enjoyed doing comedy. In OKOK I have a very cute role and for the first time I am playing a character with such myriad shades”.
Talk about her co-star Udhayanidhi, Hansika smiles: “He is such a sweet guy and one of the easiest actors to work with. I was initially very scared but he put me completely at ease. He never loses his cool and with Santhanam around, it was like we were on a picnic.”
Hansika has a great line up of films like STR’s Vettai Mannan and Suriya’s Singham-2.
