Sherlyn Chopra, who recently became the first Indian to pose for the Playboy magazine, posted pictures of her private moments on Twitter. In an interactive session with her voyeuristic followers, a series of photographs posted by Sheryln revealed her intimate relations with a cucumber and other objects matching a phallic description.
It caused a flurry of online activity with calls for the cucumber to be declared as the national vegetable and the day to go down in history as the International Cucumber Day. There were many holier-than-thou opinions also expressed which questioned Ms. Chopra's character.
If it was expected that a morally righteous party or government would decry the effect of Sherlyn Chopra's actions on the minds of impressionable young women and call for an outright ban on cucumber sales, rest assured, that has not happened yet. Cucumbers continue to be sold in stores across the country for cooking and recreational purposes.
