There has been a sense of urgency among producers to release their films, as the examination period is to start in the first week of March.
This week three films are getting released. The first is the Diganth-Aindirta starrer Parijatha, directed by dance choreographer turned director Prabhu Sreenivas, which is the remake of Tamil hit Boss Engira Bhaskaran.
The screen chemistry between Diganth and Aindrita will be the major attraction of the film, says producers Paramesh and Prem.
AK 56 directed by veteran director Om Prakash Rao which has been in the making for more than three years is also releasing today. The action oriented film has Siddanth in a leading role, while Shirin is the heroine.
Though the film does not boast of a huge star cast, the expense involved in shooting the action and other scenes have escalated its production cost which is believed to be in the range of Rs. 12 crores.
Actor and director Arvind Kaushik showed lot of promise through his first film Nam Areali Ondhina is coming back with his second directorial venture Tuglaq which has Rakshith Shetty in the lead. Meghana Ghaonkar is the heroine. Arjun Janya is the music director of this film is said to have a totally new presentation.
Besides writing the story and screenplay of the film, director Arvind Kaushik has also worked as an editor for this film. The film has been released more in multiplex screens.
