The latest to be accused in the long list of powerful personalities is choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan's brother, director Sajid Khan. Known for films like Housefull and Humshakals, the comedy director has been accused by three women for sexual harassment. These include actor Rachel White, assistant director Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay.

Saloni shared her story on Twitter, "I finally decided to share my story with you. Writing this was like re-living all that horrible past I’d chosen to let go of, but I knew if I don’t today, I may never. So here’s #metoo #MetooIndia."

“It took me years to get over the trauma he put me through. I was so scared around the people I worked with. And I’m sure he’s done this to so many other girls, I just want them to know they’re not alone. It’s been 7 years, and it’s about time I said it out loud,” wrote Saloni.

Retweeting Chopra’s tweet, Rachel White explained that during the making of Humshakals, Sajid asked her to come to his home, and asked her to strip on the pretext that her role in the film required her to be in a bikini.

Journalist Karishma Upadhyay also narrated her tale of harassment by Sajid Khan on Twitter.

Ever since Tanushree Dutta came out with details of harassment she faced on the sets of a 2008 film, Horn OK Pleassss, at the hands of veteran actor Nana Patekar, many women have spoken up against powerful personalities kick starting India’s #MeToo.
