Dhanush’s Maryan which was to release on Friday (June 28) has now been postponed to sometime in July. Taking advantage of it director Vincent Selva has managed to get theatres for his Thulli Vilayadu.
Friday June 28 will see Bharathiraja’s Annakodi which has an UA certificate, Dhanush’s Raanjhanaa dubbing Ambikapathy and Thulli Vilayadu releasing.
Vincent Selva’s Thulli Vilayadu has been censored with a U certificate, which enables it to get entertainment tax benefit while Bharathiraja’s film with UA certificate will have to pay 30% tax.
Thulli Vilayadu is a romantic thriller and has Yuvaraj and Deepti Nambiar in the lead with Prakash Raj, Jayaprakash and Parotta Suri in supporting roles. Srikanth Deva has composed the music and the audio was launched by Vijay.
Vincent Selva who has made action thrillers feels Thulli Vilayadu has all essential ingredients to attract the audiences.
