The Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar jodi is back with another unusual love story Shubh Mangal Saavdhan that will surely leave you with laughter.
The movie, based on the 'erectile dysfunction' issue, reveals the problem of sexual disorders of a simple boy Mudit (Ayushmann Khurrana), who falls for a girl next door Sugandha (Bhumi Pednekar), in a humorous way. The couple experiences the golden period of courtship before marriage but then something happens which changes the course of their lives.
The makers of the film have managed to maintain a thin line between vulgar humour and slapstick comedy, they said during the trailer launch of the film.
The punch lines and the symbolicism in the film used are spot on and the trailer has everything to make movie lovers wait for this one.
This is the second time Bhumi and Ayushmann are pairing up after working together in the National Award-winning film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
The movie Shubh Mangal Savdhan is the remake of a Tamil comedy, Kalyana Samayal Saadham.
The film, directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced the Aanand L. Rai, is all set to hit the screens on September 1.
