Two weeks more for the biggest Diwali Dhamaka in Kollywood, in recent years. Three big films- Ajith’s Arrambam, Karthi’s All in All Azhaguraja and Vishal’s Pandiya Nadu are gearing up for a Diwali release.
And two weeks before Diwali (Nov 2), two of the films, Arrambam and All in All Azhaguraja have been censored and have got clean U certificates. It means both these films are eligible for entertainment tax waiver by the Tamil Nadu government.
The other Diwali release Pandiya Nadu is getting ready to be censored on Monday, and it is also said to be a family entertainer. If all the three Diwali releases get tax exemption it is good for the industry.
Theatre booking is going on briskly and final count of theatre listing will be known only close to release. The exhibitors are on the lookout for good deals for screening the film.
Plus Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 is also scheduled for a Diwali release on November 1.
As of now Ajith’s Arrambam is likely to be the first Tamil Diwali release on Thursday October 31. The other two AAA and Pandiya Nadu have confirmed that they will open only on Diwali day (Nov 2).
It promises to be a cracker of a Diwali
