As reported earlier by Sify.com, Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Psycho was in trouble after the Madras High Court ordered that Mysskin can’t make the film with any other actor other than Mythreya. The young actor moved the High Court as Mysskin breached the agreement with Mythreya's dad who paid the director a huge advance amount.
In a video interview, Udhayanidhi has opened up about this controversy. The producer turned actor said: ”The producer also approached us saying that the script was narrated to them. But I told them that the same script was narrated to me a few years back. As I’m not the producer of Psycho, couldn’t take any decision on the matter. Later, when I asked Mysskin, he told me that he will deal them through legal proceedings. We have almost finished the shoot, only fifteen days left in the film”.
Aditi Rao Hydari of Kaatru Veliyidai fame and Nithya Menon are the two female leads in the film which also has director Ram in an important role. Ace cinematographer PC Sreeram is cranking the camera for the film and Ilaiyaraaja is composing the music.
Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi’s new film ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ is all set to release on February 22.
