A US teenager has claimed that she was asked to leave the Rue 21 store at the Valley River Center mall in Eugene, Oregon, because she was 'too big' for the clothing that it sold.
Shelby Buster went to the store to shop for her birthday, but a worker at the fashionable clothing store asked her to leave the premises because of her "too big" size, the New York Daily News reported.
Buster's mum took to the firm's Facebook page and wrote about the incident, complaining of the treatment.
The post has sparked a wave of outrage among other shoppers, who have since said they will now boycott the store in protest.
In reply to the complaints, Rue 21 said it was investigating the claims. (ANI)
