The international premiere of Vetrimaaran’s gangster trilogy Vada Chennai was held at Pingyao International Film Festival in Chennai. Critics those who had a chance to watch the exclusive premiere are raving about the film, they called Vada Chennai as ‘Tamil God Father’ and praised Dhanush’s performance in the film.
Reading all the early tweets from the festival and reviews of the critics, the political connect within the gangster world is said to be an interesting angle in Vada Chennai.
Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Lyca, Vetrimaaran wants the film to be released in three parts and the first part will hit the screens from tomorrow. The film also has Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea, Ameer, Kishore, Daniel Balaji and Pawan in key characters.
The shoot for the second part of Vada Chennai will begin in 2019 but before that, Dhanush and Vetrimaaran are working on a film which is the film adaptation of the famous novel ‘Vekkai’.
