'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' gets U

Escape Artists Motion Pictures Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (VVS) starring Sivakarthikeyan, has been censored. The film has got a clean ‘U’ certificate, making it eligible for entertainment tax exemption.

VVS is directed by Ponram, a former associate of Rajesh and is said to be an out and out comedy riot set in a small town. The film also has Sathyaraj, Parotta Soori and Sri Divya playing the heroine.

P Madan the producer and his Escape Artists Motion Pictures is one of the most professional outfits in Kollywood. They had released the audio of the film which has music by D Imman a month back. The album became a runaway hit with “Oodha Color Ribbon…” sung by newcomer Hariharasudan becoming a chartbuster. Now they have censored the film more than two weeks before its planned release.

Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam is scheduled to release on September 6, for the big Vinayaga Chathurthi weekend.
