Vijay Sethupathi plays Jithu in 'Petta'

Sun Pictures proves that why they are the best in marketing their films. As soon as hitting the right chords with the first single ‘Marana Mass’ from Rajinikanth’s Petta, the production house has now unveiled the character poster of Vijay Sethupathi in the film.


Makkal Selvan plays a gangster named Jithu in Petta and he was seen holding a machine gun in the poster. In coming days, Petta team will also unveil the names of rest of the actors including Simran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Sasikumar, and Sanath.


Touted to be an action entertainer set in Madurai and Varanasi backdrop, Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the film and Tirru has cranked the camera. Directed by Superstar Rajinikanth’s ardent fan Karthik Subbaraj, the film is all set to release for this Pongal.
