‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing a musician in his new film for Chandaraa Arts. Debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth, an erstwhile associate of S. P. Jananathan of Peraanmai fame will be directing the untitled film.
“Touted to be a film set in the backdrop of Christmas and New Year celebrations, the core story talks about an international issue”, read an official statement from the team. The film will also have two female leads but the team is yet to finalize the rest of the actors.
Nivas K Prasanna will be composing the music for the film and Mahesh Muthuswamy will handle the cinematography department. The principal shoot will begin in March 2019 and the makers are planning to capture locations like Munnar, Kodaikanal, Ooty, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh for the film.
Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy with the shoot of Seenu Ramasamy’s Maamanithan.
