Noted stunt master ‘Vikram’Dharma (50) passed away following a heart attack today (June 28) morning in Chennai. Dharma brought a lot of new fighting techniques in his action scenes which were very well choreographed by the master.

He got the prefix ‘Vikram’ after doing Kamal Hassan’s Bond movie of the 80’s Vikram. Since then `Vikram`Dharma became a permanent fixture in all Kamal films. The Kamal-Dharma combo has clicked in a big way in Shankar’s Indian. Remember the awesome climax fight scene between father and son (Kamal in double role)?

‘Vikram’ Dharma was also a favourite of Mani Ratnam and had worked with the ace director in numerous films including the recent Yuva. He was also slated to do the action scenes in Mani’s latest Guru.

Dharma brought his own style to action choreography which other fight masters later copied. He has done over 200 films in Tamil, Telugu Hindi and Malayalam.
