The much talked about Vikram film produced by Kanakaratna Films of Pokkiri Ramesh and directed by Selvaraghavan has now been officially shelved.

Though no official reason has been given it, looks like there were doubts about the viability of the project. The film which was shot for nearly two weeks in the extreme cold conditions of Leh with Subramaniapuram fame Swathi as heroine was made out to be a big movie.

Noted musician Ismail Merchant had recorded two songs for the film, which were later dumped.

Now Pokkiri Ramesh who had paid Selva huge advance is asking back for his money.

Vikram has now allotted the dates given earlier to Selva is now going to start a fresh film with director Suseendran for Ramesh.

The shoot of this film will start in February end as soon as Vikram completes the talkie portions of Vijay directed Deiva Magan.
