Last week the fastest rising star in Kollywood Vikram Prabhu was in the Himalayas shooting in high altitude for UTV’s Gaurav directed Sigaram Thodu. After that he rushed to Chennai to receive Vijay TV’s “Face of the year” award for his debut film Kumki.
Vikram Prabhu grandson of legendary Sivaji Ganesan and son of Prabhu has really made it big in Kollywood. He has become busy and has the best of young directors and banners making films for him.
Today (May 15) morning Vikram’s new film for producer Kalaipuli Thanu was launched with a ‘pooja’ ceremony. It is directed by Anand, a former associate of AR Murugadoss. Priya Anand will play his heroine in the film and the shoot begins in June.
Meanwhile Vikram Prabhu has completed almost 80% of Tirupathy Brothers M Saravanan directed romantic thriller Ivan Veramathiri, which will be his second release in July/August.
