Confetti rained down as Amitabh Bachchan lifted Vindu Dara Singh’s hand and declared him the winner of Bigg Boss: Season 3 on Saturday night.
Pravesh Rana was the first runner-up, while Poonam Dhillon was the second runner-up of the reality show.
Vindu dedicated the win to his parents.
“I thank my parents for not spoiling me. I dedicate this award to my parents,” Vindu said as Big B handed him the trophy and the Rs 1 crore prize money.
“Winning is not important… the 84 days that all the housemates spent together is more special,” an elated Vindu said.
The reality show started on October 4 with 13 housemates - Ismail Darbar, Sherlyn Chopra, Kamal Rashid Khan, Poonam Dhillon, Bhakhtiyaar M Irani, Tanaaz B Irani, Vindu Dara Singh, Aditi Govitrikar, Jaya Sawant, Shamita Shetty, Claudia Ciesla, Rohit Verma and Raju Srivastav.
Later Pravesh Rana and Vinod Kambli made wild card entries into the show.
Bhaktiyaar, Vindu, Poonam and Pravesh were the Final 4.
But Bhakhtiyar accepted the offer given by Bigg Boss of taking Rs 1 million and quit the show. Thereby, Poonam Dhillon, Vindu Dara Singh and Pravesh Rana were the finalists for the title.
