Vishnu Vishal's debut production venture Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran (VVV) has successfully completed 100 days run at the box office. "All credits to my team, we are delighted that audience have given warm welcome to our debut film and I can promise that Vishnu Vishal Studioz will continue producing crowd pleasing entertainers", said Vishnu Vishal.
The actor adds "Our film is being played in Srinivasa theater and it's not just a namesake 100 days run(smiles)".
Vishnu says that the film has grossed more than 15cr and the distributor share is around 7cr, which is very good considering the budget involved in the film.
"On the other day, checked my wikipedia page and felt proud of myself for attempting various genres. I was telling my wife about the confidence I had to do films based on time travel (Indru Netru Naalai) , struggling cricketer(Jeeva), period films set in different backdrops (Neer Paravai, Mundasupatti). Happy that all my attempts have been well received well by the audiences", says Vishnu who is all set to wrap up his upcoming period film Maaveran Kittu with Suseenthiran.
"We have recently watched the first half (rough cut) of Maaveeran Kittu and the entire team is extremely happy. I have four different looks in the film and only four days shoot left. I firmly believe that it will be the better than my previous combinations (Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Jeeva) with Suseenthiran", says the actor who has also started shooting for his second production venture with newcomer Muruganadam.
"The title hasn't been fixed yet but it will be a laugh riot like Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran. Catherine Tresa plays the female lead in the film and Soori plays the comic relief”, concludes Vishnu, who will be soon officially announcing the rest of the cast and crew.
