Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam with all its raging controversies has become red hot in Tamil Nadu trade circuit.
The DTH premiere idea of the producer and subsequently dropping it and agreeing to Tamil Nadu Theater Owners Association (TNTOA), has kept the film in the news for days.
Vishwaroopam controversies have given hope to distributors and theaters that it will take a super opening in Tamil Nadu. Now due to the hype in a days’ time, all distribution areas in Tamil Nadu were sold out.
Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giants who brought the Salem area of the film had tweeted - “Red Giant has bought the distribution rights of Ulaga Naayagan's Vishwaroopam for just one area in Tamil Nadu – Salem. Rest of the areas sold out!”
Vishwaroopam is likely to release in 400 plus screens in Tamil Nadu, and is virtually getting a solo release.
