WCC questions the attitude of AMMA leadership

The press conference of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) pointed fingers at the attitude of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) protecting the accused, while taking action against the survivor.

The three members of WCC, Revathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Padmapriya Janakiraman, who held discussions with AMMA leadership recently, stated that they will continue as AMMA members.

Actress Archana Padmini made a shocking sexual harassment charge against a production controller, about her experience during the shooting of the Mammootty starrer Pullikkaaran Staraa.

Actress Revathy did mention about an incident where a 17 year old girl came to her during midnight but did not disclose more details.

Anjali Menon, Bina Paul, Sajitha Madathil, Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeeshan and Deedi Damodaran were also present at the press conference.

WCC thanked the media for the support given to them in their struggle.
