Yuvan Shankar Raja opts out of 'Vadacurry'

Yuvan Shankar Raja who was to do producer Dayanidhi Alagiri’s Vadacurry has been replaced by a newcomer duo – Vivek and Mervin.

Yuvan who was very busy with other commitments, was not able to spend enough time for Vadacurry.

The music director who has so far tuned one melody for Vadacurry has agreed to the makers demand to retain that song. Later they agreed to part ways as friends.

Dayanidhi Alagiri then approached Anirudh for composing the tunes. Since he was also very busy, he suggested his good friends – Vivek and Mervin. Vivek also happens to be the sound engineer for Anirudh.

Both Vivek and Mervin were part of the music band – Zinx which was chosen by Oscar Winner AR Rahman. Vivek and Mervin have already scored 4 songs for Vadacurry and are in the process of doing BGM for the film.
