At least ten people were injured as a major fire broke out at a chemical factory in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district on Saturday.
According to reports, the fire broke out at Nagarjuna Agrichem Limited plant after a blast occurred inside it.
The fire broke out at around 12 noon on Saturday.
Fire fighters rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control.
The district administration immediately started rescue and relief operations as some workers are feared to be trapped inside the factory.
The injured people were admitted to Srikakulam´s Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) hospital.
Large amounts of smoke reportedly covered the area around the plant.
