Misa Bharti (RJD) vs Ramkripal Yadav (BJP)
In Bihar's Pataliputra, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's eldest daughter Misa Bharti is locked in an intense fight with 'uncle' Ramkripal Yadav. Ramkirpal, once a close aide of Lalu Yadav and a man Misa refers to as 'chacha' quit the Rashtriya Janata Dal after being denied a ticket to contest from Patliputra.
For Lalu, it's extremely important that daughter Misa wins. This would ensure the party's survival given the uncertain future he faces due to the cases pertaining to the fodder scam. Lalu is leaving no stone unturned in boosting the chances for Misa.
Ye sirf meri beti nahi, ye aandolan ki beti hai. (She is not just my daughter; she is the daughter of a movement as well.) This is how Lalu introduced his daughter during a campaign recently.
On the other hand, Lalu had slammed his former aide and party's ex-general secretary Ramkripal Yadav and appealed to people to teach him a lesson.
Lalu had accused Ramkirpal of having sacrificed self-respect by joining hands with communal force represented by Narendra Modi.
