Mumbai, Jan 16 (IBNS) The Maharashtra ATS have made some headway in tracing the perpetrators of the 13/7 Mumbai serial blasts that killed 27 and injured many in July last year.

Media reports said the Maharashtra ATS (Anti-Terrorist Squad) have been able to locate the hideout of three terrorists behind the explosions.

The hideout has been located at Byculla on the third floor of a building which was rented by the perpetrators, reports said.

It was raided on Jan 5 but but the occupants had fled before the raid. They perhaps left the country, reports said.

One of the three terrorists who stayed there has been identified as Shahrukh Shahbandari alias Yasin Bhatkal. He is reportedly a key conspirator belonging to the banned terror outifit Indian Mujahideen (IM).

The landlord of the house was quizzed by the Maharashtra ATS.

On July 13, three explosions rocked Mumbai´s Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House and Dadar killing 27 and injuring several others.
