20 injured in China fire

Beijing, Dec 22 (IANS) Twenty people were injured early Saturday in China's Shaanxi province when a fire raged through a high-rise building, authorities said.

The fire broke out around 4.30 a.m. in the 14-storey World Trade Building in Yan'an city. The fire raged for 10 hours. The upper floors were affected.

The injured were shifted to a hospital. A security guard who helped in the evacuation was missing, Xinhua reported.
