Mangalore: With growing national outrage at the thrashing and molestation of weekend revellers, including girls, at a pub here, police have nabbed eight more members of a right wing group Sri Ram Sene, taking the total number of arrested persons to twenty five.

Eight more persons were taken into custody late last evening, police said. Earlier, 17 Sri Ram Sene activists had been arrested including the outfit's District convenor, Subash Padil, district Vice-convenor Kishore and City Convenor, Ganesh.

Top leaders of the outfit, including founder Pramod Mutalik are, however, still at large.
A group of Sri Ram Sene activists had barged into the pub on Balmatta road in the heart of Mangalore city on Saturday and thrashed weekend revellers, including girls, accusing them of behaving in an obscene manner.
