3D painting charms Kolkata

Kolkata witnessed a colourful art form on Sunday as renowned American street & chalk artist Tracy Lee Stum created a 3D masterpiece in the Nandan complex.

Stum worked from the morning to gift the people of the city a wonderful 3D painting that the city has rarely witnessed.

Earlier, she had also painted another 3D painting in front of the American pavilion at the ongoing Kolkata Book Fair.

"It is terrific to come to Kolkata. I was there at the book fair and I got a good taste of the people of this city," Stum said.

Speaking about her painting she said: "I really enjoy to see that people participate in my works. Public should be a part of it."

She expressed that the popularity of art form is increasing and the younger generation is taking good amount of interest in it.

While Stum painted Mahatma Gandhi outiside the American pavilion at the ongoing Kolkata Book Fair, she created an equally lively scenary at the Nandan complex on Sunday.



Jeffrey K. Reneau, Director, American Center said: " Kolkata loves art and the people of this city also love it."

The events were organized by American Center, Kolkata.
