At least 63 people were killed and more than 185 others injured as a series of co-ordinated bomb attacks disrupted Baghdad on Thursday.
The bomb attacks took place in 14 locations that included al-Amil in the southern part of the city and in Halawi and Karrada, media reports said on Thursday.
Emergency vehicles immediately rushed to spots and authorities tightened security at various checkpoints after blasts disturbed the normal life in the city.
However, it was not clear that who were behind the series of bomb blasts that shook the Iraqi capital on Thursday.
Violence has reduced significantly in Iraq since 2007, but attacks have often disrupted peace in the country.
