7.3-magnitude quake hits off the east coast of Honshu, Japan

-ANI): An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale jolted off the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 17:18: 24 local time on Friday (08:18:24 GMT), the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 36.10 km, was initially determined to be at 37.8885 degrees north latitude and 144.0904 degrees east longitude. (Xinhua-ANI)
