`93 blasts: Verdict delayed

After 13 years, the 1993 serial bomb blasts case reached a crucial point on August 10. But proceedings—the TADA court’s dictation of the verdict—were met with delay. As expected, the deferring of Abu Salem’s petition by the High Court (till August 14) delayed the verdict. It is now expected on September 12.
