Over four lakh devotees took a holy dip in river Ganga at Varanasi on June 2, 2009, to mark the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, mythologically the day of arrival of the river on earth.
The devotees thronged the banks of Ganges at Varanasi since early hours of morning to offer prayers and seek blessings from Ganga.
