New Delhi: Leader of Opposition L K Advani on Sunday turned 83 with President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh being among the first to wish him on the occasion.

The President sent flowers to the senior BJP leader. The Prime Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar wished him over the phone.
Others who wished him by visiting his residence included BJP President Rajnath Singh and leaders M Venkaiah Naidu, Ananth Kumar, Kalraj Mishra, Shahnawaj Hussain and actor-turned-BJP politician Smriti Irani.
INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala also called on the BJP leader to wish him personally.
