Ahmedabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced that it will hold 87 public rallies in different parts of Gujarat on November 25 and 26, ahead of the first phase of state assembly elections.
BJP president Nitin Gadkari, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, other leaders like Venkaiah Naidu, Rajnath Singh, chief ministers of different states like Arjun Munda, Raman Singh, Shivrajsinh Chauhan will campaign in Gujarat during those two days, party sources said.
Election for the first phase will be held on December 13, followed by the second phase on December 17. Counting of votes will take place on December 20. (ANI)
