New Delhi: Launching his own political party ‘Bharat Swabhimaan’, yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Tuesday said his candidates would contest all seats in the next Lok Sabha elections.
"Next Lok Sabha elections will have candidates from Bharat Swabhimaan contesting elections in all 545 Lok Sabha seats," Ramdev told reporters here.
Asked what made him foray into politics, Ramdev said he wants to ‘cleanse’ the system.
“Bharat Swabhimaan activists will cleanse the political system of India,” he said.
“Around Rs 300 lakh crore of black money should be brought back and invested in developmental activities. As soon as the black money stashed away comes back, India will become the second most powerful economy. We have to get the money back by 2020,” the yoga guru added.

However, Ramdev made it clear that he himself won’t contest any elections.
“I will not contest any elections or accept any political post. I am here to serve people and my party will act as a corrective force within the political system,” he said.
Baba Ramdev further said he plans to enroll 7-10 lakh members in every parliamentary constituency of India.
