Several bands from the Army, Navy and Air Force will play military tunes at the ceremony, which is to be held at Vijay Chowk.
The Delhi Traffic Police in its advisory has said that Vijay Chowk will remain closed for traffic between 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Four metro stations in the central Delhi including Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan and Race Course stations will remain closed from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
