Aarushi's father, Rajesh Talwar, has decided that it was time he took his daughter's case in his own hands. He has gone toe-to-toe with the CBI, filing an appeal against the CBI's wish to close Aarushi's case.
Such a move has shamefully descended into a name-calling match. The CBI says Talwar has no ground to base his requests since he is one of the accused in the case and feels a mere civilian need not concern himself about all of this investigation business.
The Talwars have accused the CBI of making up lies and bungling the investigation, killing whatever chance there was of finding Aarushi's killer. Both allegations have some basis and that's all that can be said about them.
Meanwhile, the special CBI court has adjourned the case till January 21. It also asked the CBI to submit all of their documents regarding the case to Rajesh Talwar.
