The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed ten charge sheets before a special court in Ghaziabad in connection with the alleged irregularities in construction and upgradation of 89 hospitals under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
The CBI, which has filed the charge sheets yesterday, indicted many senior medical and administrative officers along with some pharma companies and businessmen.
Babu Singh Kushwaha and Anant Kumar Mishra, who were ministers in the former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Government, are already in jails in this connection along with many senior officers.
The Special CBI court will take up the matter on March 6. The investigating agency may file more charge sheets till then in this case. (ANI)
