Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday said that the hanging of Ajmal Kasab should serve as a warning to terrorists.
Welcoming Kasab's execution, Singh said Kasab needed to be hanged as he had killed a number of innocent people.
"Though there was a little delay, it was a right step to punish him," the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister said.
He said that a decision on 2001 Parliament attack case convict Afzal Guru should also be taken soon.
Kasab was hanged to death at the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune yesterday. (ANI)
