New Delhi, Jan 21 (IANS) After a chilly morning, Delhi residents had a clear and sunny Monday but with a nip in the air and maximum temperature a notch below the average. Tuesday is likely to be colder.
The maximum temperature was recorded 19.9 degrees and the minimum at 6.2 degrees, also a notch below average.
"Tuesday will have a clear sky and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 19 and 5 degrees respectively," said a Met department official.
North India saw fog, disrupting train movement.
"Dense fog in northern parts of India affected rail services. Over 20 trains were running behind schedule by several hours and 10 trains have been cancelled today (Monday) morning," said a Northern Railway spokesperson.
