New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS) A misty morning gave way to a sunny day and a chilly evening with temperatures staying below average in the national capital Thursday.
The Met Office has forecast shallow fog Friday morning.
"Friday will have shallow fog in the morning and mainly clear sky thereafter," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
According to IMD, the maximum temperature Thursday was 26.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, while the minimum was a notch below average at 12.8 degrees Celsius.
The humidity levels wavered between 91 and 42 percent.
Friday's maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around 27 and 13 degrees Celsius respectively.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was a notch above average at 27.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was normal at 13 degrees Celsius.
