Thye have now been forced to labor next to the tomb isolated on a hillock in Taiyuan city, the New York Daily News reports.
According to the report, the bizarre construction work follows a similar incident in China where two families refused to allow their homes to be demolished to make way for a four-lane highway.
The houses were eventually demolished after a compensation deal was hammered out, the report said. (ANI)
