Clinton returns to help Kerry

Bill Clinton, still recuperating from heart surgery, staged a new comeback to anoint John Kerry his heir as Democratic Party champion. Clinton was thinner and had the air of an elder statesman, though he is two years younger than Kerry, but drew strength from his rock star`s reception.
