Harvard University sophomore Kaavya Viswanathan`s cup of woes overflows, as the publisher of Megan McCafferty`s Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings, from which she recently admitted to have borrowed passages, rejected her apology as `troubling and disingenuous`.
Kaavya`s How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life, was published in March by Little, Brown and Company, was the first of a two-book deal reportedly worth six figures.
