Cremation of Gayatri Devi

The mortal remains of the former Rajamata of Jaipur, Gayatri Devi who died in Jaipur on Wednesday were consigned to flames on Thursday evening at Maharani ki Chatri, the royal cremation ground.

Brigadier Bawani Singh and Jai Singh, the stepsons of the Maharani lit the pyre.
