Delhi: Down and Out in the Cold

Icy winds blowing from mountains on Tuesday gave no respite to Delhiites from the winter chill, as it brought down mercury levels to below 5 degree Celsius.

The mercury plummeted to 4.5 degree Celsius, three degrees below normal and a sharp decline from Monday's 8.4 degree Celsius, on a sunny morning. Since Sunday, the minimum temperature has been dipping.
