Mumbai: The daughter of a hawker, who died during an anti-encroachment drive led by assistant commissioner of police Vasant Dhoble, died of heart attack on Sunday, said reports.
The 25-year-old Radha Jaiswal had been admitted to KEM hospital after the death of her father.
"When my sister came to know that our father had passed away, she fell ill and lost her will to live," reports quoted the deceased's brother as saying.
Dhoble was transferred out of Mumbai following the hawker's death. His relatives had accused the cop of assaulting him during the drive.
