New Delhi: The Department of Telecommunications has issued orders to Internet Service Providers to block 78 URLS in India, of which 73 are of articles that are critical about the B School Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM).

The URLS ordered blocked include stories from the Caravan, Outlook Magazine, Indian Express,, Faking News,, the Unreal Times and several other personal blogs - including ones with URLs that make there content rather obvious -, etc.

Most of the articles were either critical of IIPM or its head honcho Arindam Chaudhuri.

Interestingly, even consumer complaints in websites like have been ordered blocked.

It is unsure why the DoT has issued these orders, with speculation running that it was probably in response to a court order. This latest order seems to be yet another move in the long running feud between IIPM and its detractors.

The order is signed by Subodh Saxena of the DoT.

Here is a list of the blocked URLs -
